TORONTO, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Vince Carter capped off a spectacular performance with a game-winning dunk as time expired in overtime Friday, giving New Jersey a 129-127 win over Toronto.

Carter scored a season-best 39 points and created the extra period by hitting a desperation three-pointer at the end of regulation.

Devin Harris added 30 points as part of the Nets third win in four games.

Toronto, which has lost four out of six, got 42 points from Chris Bosh, a career-high 29 from Andrea Bargnani and a season-high 26 from Jose Calderon.

The Raptors' Jermaine O'Neal had seven points before leaving in the opening minute of the fourth period with a sprained left knee.

The teams combined for 34 points in the overtime in a wild finish that saw the Raptors hit two three-point shots in the last 5 seconds to tie the game.

With a second overtime appearing certain, Bobby Simmons inbounded the ball with a high arc toward the basket. Carter grabbed it and slammed it home with a reverse dunk just before the buzzer.
