NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning on Wednesday was named the AFC offensive player of the week for the 18th time in his 11-year NFL career.

Last Sunday, in the Colts' third consecutive win, 33-27 over Houston, Manning completed 30-of-46 passes (65.2 percent) for 320 yards with two touchdowns.

It was the 45th game that Manning compiled at least 300 yards passing yards and the 30 completions equaled a season-high.

Manning was joined in the AFC by Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison (defense) and New York Jets kick returner Leon Washington (special teams).

Harrison, a five-year veteran from Kent State, sacked San Diego quarterback Phillip Rivers in the end zone for a second-quarter safety and forced a fumble in the Steelers' 11-10 win.

Washington, in his third season out of Florida State, recorded his fourth career touchdown on a 92-yard second-quarter return in the Jets' 34-31 overtime victory against New England.
