AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Rasheed Wallace scored 10 of his 21 points in the final quarter Wednesday, propelling Detroit to a 96-89 victory over Cleveland.

The Cavaliers led by 11 at halftime, but fell victim to the hot-shooting Pistons down the stretch and had an eight-game winning streak come to an end.

Wallace gave Detroit a four-point lead with 7:25 to play with a three-pointer and hit another one less than a minute later to boost the Pistons' advantage to seven. He added 15 rebounds to help bring Detroit within a half game of the Atlantic Division leading Cavaliers.

Allen Iverson scored 22 for the Pistons and Richard Hamilton had 15.

LeBron James and Mo Williams both scored 25 for Cleveland, which had not lost since Nov. 1 at New Orleans.

The Cavaliers have dropped their last four trips to Detroit.

Detroit shot 50 percent from the field and missed only three of its 18 free-throw attempts.
