VILLANOVA, Pa., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A 19-point performance by Scottie Reynolds Wednesday helped No. 23 Villanova stay unbeaten with a 77-62 decision over Niagara.
It was the 150th win for Jay Wright as coach of the Wildcats.
Corey Fisher added 15 points for Villanova (3-0) and Reggie Redding contributed 14. After Niagara cut its deficit to two points early in the second half, Redding hit a three-pointer to touch off a 10-2 run that put the Wildcats in control.
Tyrone Lewis led Niagara (1-1) with 16 points and Rob Garrison had 15. Bilal Benn, who began his collegiate career at Villanova before transferring to Niagara, scored 11. Benn played 48 games for Villanova over two seasons.
