COL BKB: North Carolina 77, Kentucky 58

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Top-ranked North Carolina rode Deon Thompson's 20 points and nine rebounds to a 77-58 victory over Kentucky Tuesday.

Wayne Ellington added 16 points for the Tar Heels.

Patrick Patterson had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Kentucky. Jodie Meeks also scored 19 points and Ramon Harris 15 for the Wildcats.
