COL BKB: Oklahoma 94, Miss. Valley St. 53

NORMAN, Okla., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin had 20 points, 19 rebounds and six steals Monday night to lead No. 14 Oklahoma to a 94-53 win over Mississippi Valley State, 94-53.

Ray Willis and Willie Warren scored 14 points each for the Sooners (2-0), who advanced to a second-round game Tuesday against No. 21 Davidson in NIT Season Tip-Off.

Shannon Behling had 16 points and five rebounds for the Delta Devils (0-3), who play James Madison Tuesday in a consolation game.

Oklahoma struck early, grabbing a 17-2 lead on the way to a 35-19 halftime advantage. Mississippi Valley State could come no closer than 14 points in the second half, when the Sooners used a 20-0 run to put the game away.
