NHL: Boston 3, Toronto 2

TORONTO, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Tim Thomas made 28 saves Monday while helping the Boston Bruins beat Toronto 3-2.

Phil Kessel, Michael Ryder and Matt Hunwick had goals for the Bruins, who lead the NHL's Northeast Division with 26 points.

Marc Savard and Milan Lucic each had two assists for Boston.

Jason Blake and Mikhail Grabovski had the goals for the Maple Leafs, who have lost six of eight. Vesa Toskala allowed three goals on 22 shots.
