COL BKB: Georgetown 71, Jacksonville 62

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Chris Wright scored 16 points Monday to lead 18th-ranked Georgetown to a 71-62 victory over Jacksonville.

Greg Monroe added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Hoyas. DaJuan Summers and Jesse Sapp each scored 13 points for two-time defending Big East regular-season champion Georgetown, which is coming off a 28-win season.

Ben Smith tallied 17 points for the losing Dolphins. Marcus Allen added 14 points and seven rebounds for Jacksonville.
