EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Darcy Tucker's last minute goal sent the game to overtime and his fifth-round shootout goal gave the Colorado Avalanche a 3-2 win over Edmonton Saturday night.

Edmonton was ahead 2-1 but the Avalanche cashed in on a 6-on-3 advantage, with Fernando Pisani and Ethan Moreau in the penalty box for the Oilers and Avalanche goalie Peter Budaj off the ice for a sixth puck-handler. Tucker scored on Edmonton goalie Dwayne Roloson with just 11 seconds remaining in regulation.

In the first round of the shootout, Wojtek Wolski scored for Colorado and Sam Gagner scored for Edmonton. After Tucker scored on Roloson in the fifth round, Budaj kept Shawn Horcoff from scoring and the Avalanche had their third straight win.

Budaj finished with 33 saves.

Roloson made 30 saves for the Oilers, who lost their second straight game.
