SAN DIEGO, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Brian Johnson was 27-of-38 passing for 283 yards and five touchdowns Saturday night, leading No. 7 Utah to a 63-14 rout of San Diego State.

Johnson threw one interception. Freddie Brown caught 11 passes for 110 yards and two TDs and Matt Asiata picked up 83 yards rushing and scored twice for the Utes (11-0, 7-0 MWC), who finished with 520 yards of total offense and claimed a share of the Mountain West Conference title.

Deshawn Richard returned two fourth-quarter interceptions for touchdowns in a space of 70 seconds for Utah.

Ryan Lindley was 23-of-41 passes for 247 yards and two TDs, with the two interceptions, for San Diego State (1-10, 0-7), which has lost seven straight games.
