HOUSTON, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Case Keenum was 24-of-37 passing for 402 yards and a career-high six TDs Saturday night, leading Houston Cougars to a 70-30 pasting of No. 24 Tulsa.
Keenum also picked up 43 yards and score a TD rushing for the Cougars (6-4, 5-1 Conference USA), who won their second straight game and their fifth out of six. Tyron Carrier caught six passes for 127 yards and two TDs and returned four kickoffs for 142 yards and a score, while Andre Kohn carried the ball four times for 25 yards and a touchdown for Houston.
Mark Hafner caught eight passes for 93 yards and two TDs, L.J. Castile and Bryce Beall each had a TD reception and Loyce Means picked off three interceptions.
David Johnson was 18-of-29 passing for 271 yards, four touchdowns and one interception for the Golden Hurricane (8-2, 5-1), who lost their second straight game after opening the season with eight straight wins.
