NHL: Vancouver 4, Toronto 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Roberto Luongo stopped 28-of-30 shots Saturday night and the Vancouver Canucks beat Toronto 4-2.

Kyle Wellwood, Ryan Kesler, Willie Mitchell and Daniel Sedin scored for the Canucks, who have split their last two games but have won four of their last five. Pavol Demitra had three assists in his return to action after missing 10 games with a rib injury.

Ian White and Matt Stajan scored for the Maple Leafs, who wrapped up a three-game road trip with one win and two losses and have just two wins in their last seven games.

Vesa Toskala was removed in the second period after letting in four goals on nine shots. Curtis Joseph held Vancouver scoreless on six shots the rest of the way.
