NHL: N.Y. Rangers 3, Boston 2 (SO)

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Chris Drury's goal in the fourth round of the shootout Saturday night gave the New York Rangers a 3-2 win over Boston.

After Drury shot through the legs of Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, Patrice Bergeron's shot was first called a goal for Boston -- but game officials reversed the call after viewing the replay.

Nigel Dawes and Markus Naslund scored and goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 23 saves for the Rangers, who won their second straight game despite failing to score on six power-play chances -- including two 5-on-3 advantages.

Thomas made 29 saves for Boston, which had won five straight coming into the game.

Zdeno Chara and Dennis Wideman scored for the Bruins and Marc Savard had two assists.
