NHL: N.Y. Islanders 3, Ottawa 2

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- The New York Islanders, led by Jon Sim's one goal and one assist, topped the Ottawa Senators 3-2 Saturday night, completing a home-and-home weekend sweep.

Sim scored on the power play at 9:54 of the first period with assists by Frans Nielsen and Mark Streit. His assist came on Chris Campoli's game-winning goal at 3:59 of the third period.

Sean Bergenheim also scored and goalie Joey MacDonald stopped 38-of-40 shots for the Islanders, who had lost three straight before the sweep.

Ottawa got third-period goals from Dany Heatley (power play) and Jason Spezza. Spezza scored at 18:27 of the third with assists by Heatley and Chris Kelly.

Alex Auld allowed three goals on 31 shots for the Senators, whose losing streak grew to four straight games.

New York was 1-for-6 on the power play and Ottawa went 1-for-5 with the man advantage.
