LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Undrafted rookie Anthony Morrow scored 37 points with 11 rebounds Saturday, fueling Golden State's 121-103 victory over the LA Clippers.
The 6-foot-5 guard from Georgia Tech made his first NBA start memorable after not scoring more than eight points in any game this season.
In just under 42 minutes, Morrow sank 15-of-20 shots from the field.
Golden State led after every quarter, but sealed its victory with a 31-20 fourth.
Stephen Jackson scored 20 points with 10 assists for the winners. Andris Biedrins had a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds, while former Clipper Corey Maggette added 17 points, five rebounds and three assists for the Warriors, victorious in two of their last three outings.
LA was led by Baron Davis' 25 points and 11 assists. Cuttino Mobley scored 19, while Chris Kaman had 15 points with 13 rebounds, and Marcus Camby added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the Clippers' eighth loss in nine games to start the season.
