LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Quarterback Colt McCoy passed for two scores and ran for a third Saturday, helping fifth-ranked Texas roll to a 35-7 Big 12 Conference win over Kansas.

The junior from Tuscola, Texas, touted by some as worthy of the Heisman Trophy, completed 24-of-34 passes for 255 yards with two third-quarter touchdowns, and scored on a 4-yard run in the second quarter.

Wide receiver Quan Cosby scored once on six receptions for 70 yards, while running backs Vondrell McGee and Chris Ogbonnaya rushed for one touchdown each.

The Longhorns (10-1, 6-1 Big 12) accumulated 421 total yards in the third win in their last four games.

Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing completed 25-of-50 passes for 258 yards and a third-quarter touchdown pass to wide receiver Dexton Fields.

Wide receiver Dezmon Briscoe caught nine passes for 115 yards, and fellow wideout Johnathan Wilson added eight catches for 93 yards for the Jayhawks (6-5, 3-4), who have lost four of five.
