
CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor rushed for one touchdown and 110 yards on 13 attempts Saturday, leading No. 10 Ohio State's 30-20 win over Illinois.
Star running back Chris Wells also scored once among his24 carries for 143 yards.
Pryor added a touchdown pass for the Buckeyes (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten), who avenged a shocking 28-21 loss to Illinois at Columbus last season.
Overall, their ground game churned out 305 yards on 52 carries which led to 33:50 of possession time.
OSU extended its school-record Big Ten road winning streak to 15 games. The conference mark is 17, set by Michigan between 1988 and 1992.
Illinois quarterback Juice Williams completed 17-of-26 passes for 192 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Running back Daniel Dufrene gained 79 yards on eight carries, while wide receivers Jeff Cumberland and Chris Duvalt caught scoring passes for the Fighting Illini (5-6, 3-4), who have lost two straight and three of their last four contests.
