Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Gerald Wallace scored 22 points Friday and the Charlotte Bobcats took advantage of key Utah absentees to down the Jazz 104-96.
Deron Williams, Andrei Kirilenko and Mehmet Okur, three of Utah's top six scorers, all missed the game due to injury or family reasons.
Raymond Felton had 23 points to help the Bobcats halt a two-game losing streak. Adam Morrison delivered 10 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter and the Bobcats made 31 of 38 free throw attempts.
Utah was led by Carlos Boozer with 26 points and 15 rebounds.
The Jazz trailed by three going into the fourth quarter and tied it on a three-pointer by Kyle Korver early in the period. Charlotte then went on a 13-5 run to break the game open.
