SINGAPORE, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- India's Jeev Milkha Singh shot 3-under-par 68 Friday to hold the lead in the incomplete second round at the weather-delayed Singapore Open.

Singh had a 36-hole total of 1-under 141 despite a second straight day filled with rain and lightning.

The cut will come after 78 golfers complete the second round, weather-permitting, Saturday.

In second place at 4-under 138 were Rory McIlroy (68) of Northern Ireland and Thailand's Chapchai Nirat (68).

Another shot back were Australia's David Gleeson (67), Denmark's Thomas Bjorn (67) and Daniel Chopra (71) of Sweden.

The Barclays-sponsored event has a $5 million purse, making it the richest on the Asian Tour.
