PITTSBURGH, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Alex Goligoski scored the only shootout goal in the sixth round Thursday, giving the Pittsburgh Penguins a dramatic 5-4 victory over Philadelphia.

The Penguins recorded their fifth consecutive win, the last two coming in spectacular fashion. Pittsburgh rallied to tie Detroit in their Stanley Cup rematch Tuesday before winning that one in overtime, and Sidney Crosby scored the game-tying goal Thursday with 2:33 remaining in the third period.

Marc-Andre Fleury gave up four goals in a span of 12:10 of the second period, allowing Philadelphia to overcome a 3-0 deficit. Dany Sabourin came in to replace Fleury and was perfect in the third period, in overtime and in the marathon shootout.

Martin Biron matched Sabourin in the shootout until Goligoski successfully faked out the Flyers goaltender.

The four goals from Philadelphia in the second period included two shorthanded tallies by Simon Gange, who ran his goal total for the year to 10. Crosby's two goals in the game boosted him to six for the season.
