TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Johan Franzen scored the last of four unanswered Detroit goals Thursday and the Red Wings held on to defeat Tampa Bay 4-3.

Detroit faced a 2-0 deficit after one period, but Pavel Datsyuk began the comeback 1:33 into the second. Henrik Zetterberg, Mikael Samuelsson and Franzen then scored in a span of less than eight minutes of the third period to rally the Red Wings to their third victory in four games.

Chris Osgood made 15 saves and remained unbeaten in 17 all-time starts against Tampa Bay. It is the best record for any current NHL goaltender against one opponent.

Olaf Kolzig stopped 35 shots in the Lightning's fifth loss in six outings. Mark Recchi, Jussi Jokinen and Matt Pettinger scored for Tampa Bay.

Detroit came into the game having converted a third of its power-play chances, the best mark in the NHL. The Red Wings made good on two of five chances Thursday.
