FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Jay Feely kicked a 34-yard field goal with 7:10 remaining in overtime Thursday, giving the New York Jets a 34-31 win over New England.

The Jets (7-3) won their fourth in a row and moved a game in front of the Patriots into first place in the AFC East.

In one of the more entertaining NFL games of the season, New England came back from an 11-point deficit to tie it with 10:16 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Jets regained the lead on a 14-play, 67-yard drive that ended with a 1-yard run by Thomas Jones. But quarterback Matt Cassel then marched the Patriots 62 yards in eight plays without the benefit of a time out and threw the tying touchdown pass of 16 yards to Randy Moss with one second left in regulation.

New York won the overtime coin flip and did not relinquish the ball. After being sacked for a loss of five yards and throwing an incompletion, Brett Favre completed five straight passes.

The first of those, to rookie Dustin Keller, picked up 16 yards on a third-and-15 play. The Jets moved 64 yards in 14 plays to the winning field goal.

New York took a 24-13 halftime lead, thanks in part to two touchdowns by Leon Washington -- one on a 7-yard reception and the other on a 92-yard kickoff return.

The Patriots, who have lost two out of three, defeated the Jets in their previous meeting this season 19-10.
