LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Darren Collison led the way with 19 points Wednesday and No. 4 UCLA reached the quarterfinals of the 2K Sports Classic by downing Prairie View A&M 82-58.
Although the game was never in doubt, the Bruins were unable to permanently run their lead to 20 points until late in the contest. UCLA will meet Miami (Ohio) Thursday with the winner of that one moving on to the semifinals in New York next week.

Miami won its game earlier Wednesday over Weber State 70-66.
The Bruins suffered through a sloppy season opener, turning the ball over 23 times and missing nine of 23 free throw attempts.
Malcolm Lee added 12 points for the Bruins and Jrue Holiday had 11. Prairie View A&M was paced by 22 points from Darnell Hugee.
