COL BKB: Duke 97, Georgia Southern 54

DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- No. 5 Duke, led by Kyle Singler's 19 points and eight rebounds, rolled over Georgia Southern 97-54 Tuesday in the second round of the 2008 2K Sports Classic.

Singler, who scored 19 and had 10 boards in an 80-49 route of Presbyterian Monday, was complemented by the double-figure scoring of Nolan Smith, who had 13, and Gerald Henderson and Greg Paulus, who scored 11 each.

The 2-0 Blue Devils held Georgia Southern to just 28 percent shooting from the floor, while jumping to a 16-4 start and a 27-point lead at halftime.

Willie Powers led the 1-1 Eagles with 17 points. Julian Allen added 10 points.
