
DALLAS, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol had 22 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday, helping the Los Angeles Lakers remain unbeaten with a 106-99 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Kobe Bryant scored 27 points and Andrew Bynum added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers, who at 6-0 are off to their best start since 2001-02 when they started with seven consecutive victories.
Jason Kidd logged his 101st career triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, but the Mavericks fell to 0-3 at home for the first time since 1993-94, when they lost their first 19 home games.
Dirk Nowitzki was held to 14 points and eight rebounds on 5-of-17 shooting and fouled out in the final minute for Dallas, which has lost three in a row. Jason Terry scored 21 points, Jerry Stackhouse and Gerald Green each had 17 points, and Erick Dampier 11 points and 16 rebounds for Dallas.
