CHICAGO, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Al Horford had 27 points and 17 rebounds and Mike Bibby added 22 points Tuesday, leading unbeaten Atlanta to a 113-108 win over Chicago.
Joe Johnson added 17 points and eight rebounds, and Maurice Evans 17 points for the 6-0 Atlanta Hawks, who are off to their best start since winning the first 11 games of the 1997-98 campaign.
No. 1 overall pick Derrick Rose led the Chicago Bulls with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Luol Deng had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which has lost four of five.
Ben Gordon added 19 points for the Bulls, who lost on the day when guard Kirk Hinrich had surgery on his right thumb.
