ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- David Booth's hat trick carried Florida past Anaheim 3-1 Sunday, ending a six-game Panthers' losing streak.

Booth scored in the first period and then scored twice more in the second.

Craig Anderson stopped 44 shots in goal for the Panthers and Stephen Weiss and Jassen Cullimore each tallied two assists.

Corey Perry got the Ducks' goal and Anaheim goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 23 stops.

The win marked the first time Florida defeated Anaheim in nearly five years.
