Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
CHICAGO, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Kerry Collins tossed two touchdown passes Sunday for the Tennessee Titans, who stayed unbeaten with a 21-14 win over the Chicago Bears.
Collins connected on 30-of-41 passes for 289 yards and the Titans extended their record to 9-0.
Tennessee had lost its three previous encounters with the Bears (5-4), who dropped into a first-place tie with Minnesota in the NFC North after the Vikings edged Green Bay.
Collins hit Bo Scaife on a 10-yard scoring pass in the first quarter and Justin Gage on a 12-yarder in the third.
LeDale White ran 2 yards for the other Titans' touchdown.
Brandon Jones caught eight passes for 82 yards for Tennessee.
The Bears' Rex Grossman, starting in place of the injured Kyle Orton, threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Matt Forte and also ran 1 yard for a score. Grossman finished 20-for-37 passing for 137 yards, with one interception.
Forte picked up 72 yards on 20 carries and caught seven passes for another 54 yards.
