LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- A.J. Green scored with 1:54 to play Saturday to give the 14th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs a 42-38 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.
Matthew Stafford completed 17-of-27 passes for 376 yards and three touchdowns and Knowshon Moreno added 123 yards on the ground with three touchdowns for the Bulldogs (8-2, 5-2 SEC). Mohamed Massaquoi had eight receptions for 191 yards and a score.
Randall Cobb ran for three touchdowns on 18 carries for 82 yards and went 12- for-20 for 105 yards and an interception, and Tony Dixon added two rushing touchdowns for the Wildcats (6-4, 2-4), who have lost four of their last six games.
Trailing by three points with under four minutes to play, Georgia started the game-winning drive on its own 15. Massaquoi got the ball down to the Kentucky seven-yard line on a 78-yard catch-and-run on the first play of the possession. Three plays later, Stafford rolled out to the right to avoid the rush, broke a tackle and threw the ball to the back of the end zone past a leaping defender to Green for an 11-yard TD with under two minutes to play.
