
PROVO, Utah, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Max Hall passed for 317 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, pacing the 16th-ranked BYU Cougars to a 41-12 win over San Diego State.
Hall completed 25-of-30 passes, and Austin Collie had nine receptions for 127 yards and two TDs for the Cougars (9-1, 5-1 Mountain West), who have won three straight games since their lone loss at 11th-ranked TCU.
Michael Reed caught five passes for 95 yards and Harvey Unga added 37 yards on the ground in the victory.
Ryan Lindley threw for 160 yards on 21-of-36 passing, with a touchdown and an interception for the Aztecs (1-9, 0-6), who have a six-game losing streak. Tyler Campbell led the team in rushing yards with 41 on four carries. Darren Mougey San Diego State's lone touchdown in the loss.
