OGDEN, Utah, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Weber State signed football Coach Ron McBride to a four-year contract Tuesday running through the 2012 season.

McBride is in the fourth year of his original contract signed in December 2004. He is 23-20 at Weber State, including a 17-12 record in Big Sky Conference regular-season games.

"I think it is a very fair contract and I am very pleased with the way it reads," said McBride. "I think the university was fair on its part. It's good for my assistants, good for me and hopefully good for my team."

Weber State is 8-2 this season, including a 6-0 record in the Big Sky.
