NFL Denver Broncos host Miami Dolphins

DENVER, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Ronnie Brown ran for one touchdown and Will Allen scored on a pass interception Sunday afternoon, leading Miami's 26-17 win over the Denver Broncos.

Brown gained only 59 yards on 20 carries, but his 2-yard fourth-quarter score sealed Miami's victory.

Allen picked off a Jay Cutler pass with 5:05 left in the second quarter and returned it for a TD, giving Miami a 13-0 advantage.

Quarterback Chad Pennington completed 23-of-40 passes for 281 yards, no touchdowns and one interception, while Dan Carpenter kick four field goals for the Dolphins (4-4), who occupy last place in the wide-open AFC East Division.

Cutler went 24-of-46 for 306 yards and two touchdowns, but yielded three interceptions -- including one in the fourth quarter when Denver's deficit was just 19-17.

Wide receiver Peyton Hillis caught one touchdown pass and finished with seven catches for 116 yards.

Fellow wide receiver Eddie Royal scored once on seven receptions for 69 yards for the Broncos (4-4), whose losing streak grew to three straight.
