OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Matt Ryan connected with Michael Jenkins for two touchdown passes to lead Atlanta to its first shutout win in six years Sunday, 24-0 over Oakland.
Ryan completed 17-of-22 passes for 220 yards and two 64-yard touchdown passes to Jenkins.
Michael Turner carried 31 times for 139 yards and Jerious Norwood ran for 63 yards and a score.
The Falcons' John Abraham had three sacks.
Atlanta (5-3) hadn't posted a shutout win since downing Carolina 41-0 in November 2002.
The Raiders' JaMarcus Russell completed just six passes in 19 attempts for 31 yards, with one interception.
Oakland (2-6) didn't get a first down until nearly midway through the third quarter.
