NHL: Nashville 3, Florida 2 (SO)

NASHVILLE, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Martin Erat's shootout goal made the difference Saturday night when the Nashville Predators beat Florida 3-2.

After Erat scored in the third round of the shootout, Rostislav Olesz couldn't get the puck past Predators goalie Pekka Rinne.

Erat had a goal in regulation and Shea Weber also scored for the Predators, who have won three of their last four games. Rinne finished with 24 saves.

Karlis Skrastins and Olesz scored and Craig Anderson stopped 30 shots for the Panthers, who have lost three straight games.
