SANDY, Utah, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Yura Movsisyan scored in the 90th minute Saturday to lead Real Salt Lake to a 1-0 win over Chivas USA in the opener of their MLS playoff series.

Javier Morales and Robbie Russell assisted on the goal and Real Salt Lake won its first-ever playoff contest in its fourth season in the league.

RSL outshot Chivas USA 21-3.

The Western Conference Semifinal Series movies to Carson, Calif., for Game 2 Nov. 8.
