SUNRISE, Fla., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley and Chris Kelly scored third-period goals Thursday in rallying the Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 victory over Florida.

Keith Ballard scored for Florida on the power play late in the first period and it remained a 1-0 game until Heatley tied it 5:55 deep into the third.

Less than five minutes later, Ottawa's Chris Neil forced a turnover and tried to stuff the puck into the goal from behind the net. The puck came loose and eventually trickled across the line with the goal being credited to Kelly.

Alex Auld made 25 saves for the win, Ottawa's second straight following a four-game losing streak.

It was the third outing in a four-game road trip for the Senators. The journey will end Saturday at Tampa Bay.
