Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Carey Price stopped 28 shots Thursday and the Montreal Canadiens won for the seventh time in nine games to start the season -- 2-1 over Minnesota.
Francis Bouillon and Andrei Markov produced the goals and Alex Tanguay assisted on both. Montreal has won two in a row after suffering its only two losses of the year.
Minnesota's Josh Harding started in goal for the first time this season and stopped 19 of 20 shots. The Wild played seven games this year without a regulation loss, but have dropped their last two.
Minnesota was held scoreless after Brent Burns scored just 91 seconds into the contest. The Wild failed to tally on any of their 10 power-play chances.
