NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Nate Robinson made four free throws in the final 29 seconds Wednesday to fight off a Miami comeback and give New York a 120-115 win over the Heat.

New York had a 21-point lead with less than seven minutes to play and still had to sweat out a victory in the opening game of the season for both teams.

The Heat closed within five in the final minute, but Robinson made two free throws with 29 seconds to go for a 116-109 lead. Daequan Cook then hit a three-pointer for Miami to get the Heat within four, after which Robinson made two more foul shots to account for the final score.

Miami scored 70 points in the second half after managing just 45 in the first two periods.

Jamal Crawford led New York with 29 points, Zach Randolph had 20 and Robinson 16. Dwyane Wade paced Miami with 26.
