
HOUSTON, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Matt Schaub threw three touchdown passes Sunday, helping the Houston Texans bury the winless Cincinnati Bengals 35-6.
Schaub connected on 24-of-28 passes for 280 yards.
Houston's Jacoby Jones returned a punt 73 yards for a touchdown 2:18 after the game began but the Bengals kept it close and trailed only 14-6 at halftime. Houston dominated the second half, scoring three touchdowns.
Kevin Walter caught two of Schaub's scoring passes, Andre Johnson caught 11 tosses for 143 yards and Steve Slaton ran for 53 yards and a touchdown for the Texans (3-4).
Houston has a three-game win streak for the first time in the team's history.
Ryan Fitzpatrick was 20-of-32 passing for 155 yards for the Bengals (0- 8).
T.J. Houshmandzadeh caught eight passes for 54 yards.
Cincinnati got its points on two Shayne Graham field goals.
