Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24


SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- John Cook shot a 6-under-par 65 Sunday, winning the AT&T Championship in Texas for the second straight year.
Cook finished at 16-under 197, three strokes ahead of Keith Fergus, at the Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio.
Fergus also closed with a 65.
John Morse (63) and Jay Haas (66) tied for third at 201, a shot behind Fergus.
Cook birdied the 15th and 17th holes to take a three-shot lead going to the final hole, which he parred.
Jeff Sluman, who led entering the final round, closed with a 71 and ended up with a share of fifth place with Bruce Fleisher (69) and Mark James (70) at 11-under 202.
Cook's two AT&T titles are his only victories on the Champions Tour.
