COL FB: Rutgers 54, Pittsburgh 34

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Mike Teel passed for a single-game school record six touchdowns and 361 yards Saturday, fueling Rutgers' 54-34 upset of 17th-ranked Pittsburgh.

Teel eclipsed the former school record of five touchdown passes, set by Rich Policastro against Colgate in 1969. Teel, who went into the game with only three TD passes this season, had five first-half scoring passes.

Kenny Britt caught three of Teel's touchdown passes, catching five total passes for 143 yards for Rutgers (3-5, 2-2 Big East). Tim Brown had two scoring receptions, with four catches for 132 yards.

Kordell Young ran for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

LeSean McCoy rushed for for 146 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries for the Panthers (5-2, 2-1).

Bill Stull completed 17- of-23 passes for 283 yards before being carried off on a stretcher with an apparent neck injury.
