WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Adam Weber compiled 272 all-purpose yards Saturday in No. 25 Minnesota's 17-6 Big Ten Conference win over Purdue.

The sophomore from Shoreview, Minn., completed 21-of-34 passes for 212 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also scored once among his 13 carries for 60 yards.

Wide receiver Eric Decker caught seven passes for 51 yards, while fellow wide-out Brandon Green made five receptions for 100 yards for the Golden Gophers (7-1, 3-1), who are four wins away from an 11-1 season after going 1-11 last year.

DeLeon Eskridge gained 42 yards on 17 carries for Minnesota.

Purdue quarterback Curtis Painter completed 6-of-12 passes for just 36 yards before leaving with an undisclosed second-half injury. His replacement, Justin Smith, completed 10-of-17 passes for 73 yards.

Running back Kory Sheets gained 73 yards on 21 carries, while Carson Wiggs booted two first-quarter field goals for the Boilermakers (2-6, 0-4), who have lost five in a row.
