
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Kellen Moore was 26-of-40 passing for 244 yards and two touchdowns Friday night to lead No. 13 Boise State to a 33-16 victory over San Jose State.
Moore was intercepted once. Ian Johnson picked up 66 yards rushing and scored twice for the Broncos (7-0, 3-0 WAC), who took over first place in the conference and kept alive their prospects for a BCS berth.
Boise State and San Jose State came into the contest undefeated in the WAC. The Broncos were ranked 12th in the BCS standings before the game.
Austin Pettis and Jeremy Childs each caught a TD pass for Boise State.
Kyle Reed was 16-of-29 passing for 105 yards, with no touchdowns or interceptions for San Jose State (5-3, 3-1).
The Broncos amassed 393 yards total offense to just 207 for the Spartans.
Brandon Rutley rushed for 60 yards and a TD for San Jose State.
