KIRKLAND, Wash., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, still nursing a bulging disc in his back, will miss a third straight game Sunday when the Seattle Seahawks visit San Francisco.

Seneca Wallace will start at quarterback for the second straight week for the Seahawks (1-5), who have lost three games in a row. Wallace connected on 12-of-23 passes for just 73 yards with one touchdown and an interception in last Sunday's 20-10 loss to Tampa Bay.

Wallace, limited in practice last week due to a calf injury, took over the quarterback duties from third-stringer Charlie Frye.

Frye was named the starter in Week 6 due to the injuries to Wallace and Hasselbeck but completed just 12-of-23 passes for 86 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions in Seattle's 27-17 setback to the Green Bay Packers.
