NHL: Anaheim 4, Ottawa 3

OTTAWA, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Ryan Getzlaf's second-period goal was the game-winner Friday when the Anaheim Ducks survived a late rally by the Ottawa Senators to win 4-3.

Brian Sutherby, Todd Marchant and Samuel Pahlsson also scored for the Ducks, who were making their first trip to Ottawa since Game 4 of the 2007 Stanley Cup finals.

Daniel Alfredsson, Alexandre Picard and Chris Neil scored for the Senators, who had a 1-4-0 record during their five-game home stand.

Dany Heatley had three assists and Filip Kuba had two assists to extend his assist streak to seven games. Alex Auld allowed four goals on 32 shots for the Senators.
