Morgan Pressel captures Hawaii title

KAPALUA, Hawaii, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Morgan Pressel fired a 3-under-par 69 Sunday and won the Kapalua LPGA Classic in Hawaii.

Pressel birdied two of the last three holes and finished at 8-under 280 for a one-shot edge over Suzann Pettersen, who also closed with a 69.

"It's awesome to win here at Kapalua," Pressel said.

Laura Diaz (70) placed fourth at 282 and Angela Stanford (70) and Young Yoo" class="tpstyle">Sun Young Yoo (72) were another two shots back.
