Tommie Harris' wife dies

HOUSTON, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- The Houston Dynamo, two-time defending MLS Cup champion, clinched the Western Conference regular season crown Saturday, beating the Los Angeles Galaxy 3-0.
After LA's Brian Jordan scored an own-goal, Dwayne De Rosario and Brian Ching each scored a goal -- De Rosario scoring his 50th MLS goal.
Making four saves, Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad earned his 50th MLS shutout.
