COL FB: Boston College 28, Va. Tech 23

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Chris Crane completed 16 of 32 passes for 218 yards and a TD as Boston College edged out No. 18 Virginia Tech 28-23 Saturday.

Crane also threw three interceptions in the ACC game.

Montel Harris netted 61 yards on 15 plays and a TD for the Eagles (5-1, 2-1 ACC), who have won four straight. James McCluskey ran for a two-yard TD and Ifeanyi Momah had 57 yards on three catches and a TD. Brandon Robinson had four catches for 97 yards.

For Virginia Tech (5-2, 2-1), Tyrod Taylor had 90 yards in the air with an interception on 12-of-27 passing. He added 110 yards rushing on 15 carries for Tech, which had its five-game win streak snapped.
