Turnesa continues to lead in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Marc Turnesa shot a 3-under 69 Saturday to remain in the lead after three rounds of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Turnesa, who shared the lead after the first and second rounds, completed 54 holes at 21-under 195, one shot off the tournament's 54-hole scoring record. He will go for his first PGA Tour win on Sunday.

Chris DiMarco turned 9-under 63 Saturday to jump into a share of second at 20-under 196. He is tied with Michael Allen (64) and Ken Duke (67).

Matt Kuchar (71), who shared the second-round lead with Turnesa shares fifth place at 197 with former Masters champion Zach Johnson (70) and Chris Stroud (67).
