OTTAWA, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Two goals and two assists from Jason Spezza Friday helped Ottawa produce its biggest offensive show of the season and down Phoenix 6-3.

Jarkko Ruutu added two goals for the Senators and Dany Heatley and Anton Volchenkov also scored.

The six goals were the most for the Senators in the young campaign. Martin Gerber made 34 saves for the win. Phoenix lost its second straight. Ilya Bryzgalov allowed all six goals on 26 shots.

Ottawa took a 4-0 lead through two periods only to see the Coyotes cut their deficit to 5-3 with 5:21 remaining. Spezza removed all doubt with 1:48 to play by tipping in a shot from Filip Kuba.

Ottawa has won six of the last seven meetings. The Coyotes committed only three penalties in the game.
